GLOSSY POLYURETHANE COATINGS FOR METAL & WOOD is new generation two pack air drying coating system which can be applied on all types of metal (ferrous & nonferrous) and wood substrate. These high performance coatings always offer superior and long lasting protection and maintain new look and original beauty for years.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE FOR METAL (PICMENTED) : Surface to be coated should be dry & free from dirt, grease, oil, welding flux, Clean surface with suitable solvents & sand paper. Level dent, scratches and cracks with suitable putty & sand to smooth finish.

PRIMER COAT : Apply one or two coats of Glossy 1001 PU PRIMER and allow it to dry for minimum of 8 hours. Sand with emery paper No. 320 or 400 between application of successive coat.

FINISH COAT : Select finish coat available in range of shade in Glossy & Matt. Apply one 0r two coats of Glossy P.U (Pigmented) finish and allow it to dry for minimum of 8 hours. Sand with emery paper No. 320 or 400 between application of successive coat.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE FOR WOOD : Wooden article to be coated must be dry & free of dust & loose particles. Prepare smooth surface by sanding with emery paper No. 180 followed by No. 320 or 400. Cracks & scratches if any should be filled & leveled.

SEALER COAT: Apply one or two coats of Glossy 1001 PU SEALER depending upon surface smoothness and allow it to dry for minimum of 8 hours. Sand with emery paper No. 320 or 400 between application of successive coat.

FINISH COAT FOR WOOD : Select finish coat available in GLOSSY/MATT. Apply one or two coats of PU CLEAR and allow it to dry for minimum 8 hours. Sand with emery paper No. 320 or 400 between application of successive coat. For better protection apply an additional PU Clear Coat.

A Top Coat of Glossy PU Clear over Pigmented finish, will give additional protection and enhance the gloss.

INSTRUCTIONS :

For mixing ratio, take 3 parts of Base with 1 part of Hardener by volume

Allow for maturation period of half an hour after mixing base with hardener & Strain through muslin cloths.

Mixing pot, stirrer, spray gun should be free of moisture since system is sensitive to moisture.

Use Glossy PU Thinner for Thinning only.

Spray at 30-40 psi (2.2 to 2.8 kg²m)

Use within one week after opening Base & Hardener container.

Stir the Content well before use.
